THE FOUNDATIONS OF YOUR VITALITY
SIGN ME UP!
In this time of growing complexity, with constant reports on new research findings and "health experts" around every corner, it can feel hard to know what really makes a difference to our health.
Ayurveda's time-tested wisdom narrows it down to 3 pillars of good health...
- Food
- Sleep
- Sexuality / Energy Management
In this retreat, we’ll unpack the teachings around each pillar, uncovering practical guidance to build uncommonly good health in our modern times (and yes, that third one really needs some unpacking!)
When we boil down the details from these reliable sources...
creating good health is actually simple and intuitive.
In this program you'll discover...
- Specific, inspiring ways to establish the 3 Pillars of Vibrancy in your life to tap into your inner wisdom
- 6 eating habits most people have that completely disrupt digestion – and what to do instead
- Why elimination is so critical to your health, and how to make it happen every day
- 4 secrets to falling back asleep in the wee hours of the morning
- A new framework for understanding sleep that changes everything
- How to use your menstrual cycle as your personalized energy map (even if you are in menopause)
So why are the 3 Pillars of Good Health so important?
They reveal hidden pathways to our intuition and inner wisdom - our true source of vibrancy.
The first Pillar is Food, pointing us to the pathway of Digestion.
If we cannot digest what we eat, it doesn’t matter how “healthy” it is. All the dosha-specific lists of foods we should or shouldn’t eat distract us from the simple actions we must do to digest our food successfully. Our digestion constantly reveals our inner knowing and intuition, if we know how to listen for it.
The second Pillar is Sleep, revealing the pathway of the mind and nervous system.
When we live with constant stimulation and stress, dropping into restorative sleep can feel impossible. Ayurveda holds key guidance that makes deep sleep not only possible, but predictable – information that is even more vital in times of acute stress or life transitions like postpartum and perimenopause.
The third Pillar is Sexuality / Energy Management, for which women have a customized pathway – our unique menstrual cycle.
Our sexuality can serve as a wellspring of vibrancy and intuition, which is nourished by our inner waters. While mainstream society teaches us to ignore or hide menstruation, our cycle actually gives us the most powerful pathway to build, honor, and restore our energy, once we know how to follow it. This inner source of guidance is available to us even when we are no longer menstruating.
